About the Prinx HiRace UHP HZ2 in 225/45ZR18
The HiRace UHP HZ2 is the second-generation compound of Prinx's performance flagship. If you've driven the first-gen HiRace UHP and wanted a bit more wet bite, this is the upgrade. Built for modified sedans, hot hatches, and anything with upgraded brakes that needs a tire to match.
HZ2 silica compound is specifically tuned for the wet-grip deficit UHP tires are known for. Lateral sipes in the outer shoulder hold a line in standing water; the inner groove stays wide open for drainage. It's a summer/3-season pick in Southwest Florida — not a Northeast winter tire.
225/45ZR18 is a typical standard sedan and crossover size: fits luxury sedans, performance trims, European sedans and similar platforms. We confirm the exact spec on your vehicle before mounting. Factory spec: load index 95 and speed rating Y, XL (extra load) construction.
